Hello,
In the KDE distros I've tried, when I right click the desktop and 'Create New', there are many options such as creating shortcut to applications, etc. But in my ROSA, there are only three options - 'Folder', 'Text File', 'Illustration Document', but the option to make shortcuts is missing. Is this a bug or should it be like that by default?
I heard rave reviews about Mageia but it always is buggy, freezing and locking up but ROSA is the most smooth-sailing distro I've tried, not even one freeze or lockup.
Mine is 2012.1 beta, fully updated.
Thanks

Re: Missing some options in KDE - 2012.1 beta
It's not a bug, it's a feature. In fact, it's still not finally decided will it be so in final release or not. Some people insist that it's not needed for most users while others don't agree.DisappearingOak писал(а):Hello,
