Having installed Rosalinux Fresh R8.1 on my new laptop I notice that the versions off Libreoffice, Thunderbird, and the Gnome-keyring are not the latest but old versions. The version of Plasma seems to be a mixture of 4 and 5. Why have the developers made this choice? I am really curious.
I prefer the latest versions of these programs, so I have removed the official versions and installed the most recent ones. I see no problems. yet I believe that the developers must have a reason for their choice. Please, enlighten me.
Greetings and keep up the good work!

Re: What is the Meaning of "Fresh" in "Rosa Fresh"?
I have found a possible reason: the arrival of Rosa Fresh Revision 9. As soon as I discovered this, I downloaded it. I had a choice: KDE4 or Plasma. I chose Plasma. Two days later I erased it and installed the KDE4 session. I am at home in KDE4 and need a period of learning to become acquainted with Plasma. I prefer no change and am very content with KDE4. So I am very happy with the possibility of choice that I am given.
