Postby rich1974 » 24 Jan 2017, 12:05

hello there! :)
i own a laptop named hp 255 g5, amd apu e2-7110, radeon r2....
the laptop works great with rosa fresh r8. the main issue is the crappy sound. it sounds like a cheap tablet. if i use external device, headphones, speakers, etc. the sound works as normal. now, the problem is with beats audio. is there any way to fix this problem? the issue is present on any linux distro. in the first place, i will post the codecs:
Code: Select all
rich1974@rich1974-HP-255-G5-Notebook-PC ~ $ cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec
Codec: ATI R6xx HDMI
Codec: Realtek ALC3227

Code: Select all
rich1974@rich1974-HP-255-G5-Notebook-PC ~ $ cat /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=auto
