Hello Everyone.
I updated my system to R10 and with this new system, i couldn't install proprietary drivers for my ATI HD6570 series graphic card... At the "software manager" i saw gnupro drivers... Unfortunately my HD6570 Radeon series card not in the supported drivers for this driver package.
How can i install fglrx for this fresh new system?
Thank you.

Re: How To install proprietary drivers on R10
Unfortunately AMD stopped fglrx development. With new kernels and Xorg it's recommended to use open drivers for old cards. AMD's position is that open drivers are now as good as fglrx (with better 2D performance and worse power management).Majestic писал(а):How can i install fglrx for this fresh new system?

Thank you very much for explaining.
I hope free drivers get an update soon... Because HD video performance is really low.
Thank you again.

We plan to update Xorg and Mesa soon (likely in January). I hope the update will make HD video performance better.Majestic писал(а):I hope free drivers get an update soon... Because HD video performance is really low.
